News that deserves to be recorded so we don't forget.

Congratulations to the group of Helcular, Cyrleena, Bulliticus and Brozak.  They got our first Guild Achievement by running Deadmines as an all guild group.  This definitely goes down in guild history.

Next to be recorded in our guild history:  Samnites, the first Outcast guildie to get to level 85 and he did it while leveling his mining and blacksmithing.  Congratulations to Samnites!

Wow!  That's the message I am seeing when I try to invite everyone to the raids now, which means they won't allow me to mass invite on the calendar any more.  This means you will no longer get raid invitations.  This does NOT mean that you are not invited to a raid. 

All raids are still posted on the calendar.  You will, however, no longer see a ? flashing on the calendar tab.

It will be your responsibility each week to go to the calendar and look at the raids scheduled and SIGN UP for those you can attend.

When we are putting the parties together, those players who are rank Revolutionary and up, as full Outcast members, get placed in the raid before Troopers.

I know it might take a little while for everyone to get used to the new system and I would appreciate everyone's help in letting other guild members know about this new system.

Last Sunday September 26th, we had some raid boss killing fun.

First Stop was Mt Hyjal.  This is one fun raid and I highly recommend this one to everyone regardless of whether you're fighting the Lich King or not.  Archimonde couldn't care less what Northrend bosses you down on a regular basis.  He's here to bring you back to reality with a quick slap to the face.  We went in with 12 people, 10 ICC geared 80s and 2 lvl 71ish.  Archimonde quickly reminded us, why he is boss in Mt. Hyjal.  Fear, fire and curses.  What a deadly combination.  He wiped us fast and brought us back to reality about how powerless we really are unless we actually follow a strat, even in Burning Crusade Raids.  We made the long corpse run back into the raid, pulled up our boots and got our revenge.

Woot!  If you're looking for something fun to do, take a group into Mt Hyjal, you won't be sorry and make sure you have at least one mage or druid with you.

We'll be doing more old school raids on Sunday afternoons, so watch the calendar.

That night, our new 2 Night a Week ICC group got the Guild's first Rotface Kill.  Way to go guys!  Oozerific!

As you can see we have a new look to the website. Unfortunately, during Wowstead's server move, we lost all of last week's forum posts, including those of people who signed that they had agreed to our Guild Policies, and any new uploads to the Galleries.  They say we will be able to access the information on our "legacy" website, but so far I have been unable to access that.  When I do I should be able to copy and paste the posts over. 

Especially important that we retrieve, is the announcement of our first Luminary, Asharyn. 

Her celebration thread was lost, including her interview and all congratulations.  Congratulations again Asharyn.  I hope to have the thread back up asap for you.

If you uploaded any gallery images last week, could you please upload them again.  Those I don't think I'll be able to retrieve.

Overall, I'm liking the new site.  It's been a bit buggy, ok alot buggy, but things are starting to work and become visible.  Hopefully it can only get better. 

Calling all our talented artists: I'd like to add a banner/artwork to our welcome message and would love it if any or all of you could submit art to be used there.  It should include the text Outcast in the image.  If many of you respond and I get multiple images I'll rotate the images we use so that all of you will have your piece featured there.

I've created a new forum that we can keep all of our Raid Strategies in one place.  I've moved any previously posted Raid Strats into this forum. 

Please feel free to post strats and tactics and links and videos.  Strategies and tactics can be our own or links to other people's.  Let's fill the forum up.
